Place
crackers in a large plastic bag; close bag and crush crackers until they are
crumbs. Add flour, salt, and pepper to bag and mix well.

Beat
egg in a dish or bowl; heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

One
by one, soak chicken pieces in egg batter, then place in bag with crumb
mixture. Seal bag and shake, then coat
the chicken with the crumb mixture.
4.
Reduce
heat to low and fry coated chicken in skillet for 15 to 20 minutes, turning
often, until golden brown.
