The Knight
The
light bulb went off in my head! It
needed to be a rainy day.
I
looked at the canvas. The knight sat on
his horse, his suit of armor glistening in the sun. His lance was held at his side. Its sharp point cautioned all challengers to
stay away.
Yet
the knight didn't look bold enough. The
sunny day in the background was too happy and carefree. The knight needed a thunderstorm.
With
a few strokes of grey and black and dark green, I was able to turn the sunshine
into a monsoon.
I
put the brush down and stood back to look at the knight. He was a masterpiece.
