The Fossil

Rachel held the fossil in her hand.  This was the moment she had worked so hard for all these years.

She could barely remember the last few weeks.  She had crossed through the desert, followed the clues, and trusted her instincts.  Now it was all paying off.

In her hand was proof that this extinct creature had once lived on earth.  A few weeks ago, it had only been a theory of hers.  It was that theory that had started this crazy adventure.

Now Rachel had proof.
